proposition "B" and r be the proposition "z € C".

(a) How could you rephrase the equality of sets

(B-A)U(C-A) = (BUC) - A

as a logical equivalence involving these propositions p. q and rand

various logical connectives?

(b) Use a truth table to prove that (B-A)U(C − A) = (BUC) – A.

(c) Draw a Venn diagram illustrating the statement you have just

proved.
