is important for this degree program. Hello class! My name is Richard Wyckoff Jr. I am from southern New Jersey. I am sixty years old. I have been married for 34 wonderful years to my wife. I am attending SNHU and plan on getting a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, possibly a master's degree afterwards. In the telecom field I ran cables, hooked up equipment, testing and reading blueprints for 28 yrs. In my house I set up all the hardware and software for our personnel and work-related computers. Also, I help my family with their computers. I/nworked most of my life in the electronics and electrical field. I have been wanting to change careers and get certifications. Networking is important to cybersecurity because it helps professionals stay informed, access resources, build relationships, and identify new opportunities for growth and development. Networking fundamentals will provide a strong foundation for how data moves across systems and networks. Networking will help me in my critical thinking skills, leadership abilities, and project management.
