1/30/24, 12:40 AM Resume of Immunoglobulins Resume of Immunoglobulins Description In the previous module we covered the basic structure of an antibody. There are five different isotypes of antibodies, which

differ in their constant regions of their heavy chain. Instructions You will create a resume EACH, for all five isotypes, and will describe the structure that enables the function of a specific antibody isotype, the molecular weight, the valence of the antibody (i.e. the number of antigen binding sites on a single antibody molecule), where the antibody is primarily located, and the unique function of each antibody. Be creative and have fun with this assignment (i.e. think outside the box). Please use the guide below: 1. The name of the isotype, 2. The address/location 3. Professional experience: What is the specific function of the isotype. Include the valence details here. Include the details of the isotype heavy chain, the molecular weight, its interaction with the classical and alternate complement pathways, whether it can cross the placenta 4. "Education": details as to how this isotype develops or is produced, 5. Additional skills: How the unique structure of the isotype correlates with its specific function-include details of the hinge variation per isotype. Format I don't want you to be focused on the format or delivery of the resume, so I am providing a template (Word doc) (https://doane.instructure.com/courses/14644/files/2109388/preview)↓ (https://doane.instructure.com/courses/14644/files/2109388/download?download_frd=1) for you to use. I want you to be focused on the content of the resume. 1/4 1/30/24, 12:40 AM Expectations Resume of Immunoglobulins Exceptional - Resume describes the structure, function, location, MW and valence of all five Isotypes. Average - Not all isotypes are described, or the correlation between structure and function of each specific class is not accurate or logical. Below average -Incomplete list with ambiguous correlations between structure and function.
