This revolution is very much driven by intelligence in powering decision making and processes. The transformation that is underway is boosting productivity, minimizing production challenges, simplifying human jobs “I uiསNiy “ངVདiས དང དuuoi ཞུV- ས་ooo geographies. Advanced technology is already being used in the manufacturing sector across the globe, but industry 4.0 will further give way to some transformational technologies that will allow the industry to evolve at a more rapid pace. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Stemming from the above, students are expected to expand in the above issues covered during the course and attempt to provide a deeper understanding around an Industry 4.0 issue. The following are some of the directions that could inspire students in identifying a focus for their group project. ♦ Industry 4.0 application(s): Investigate the impact of any (or few) of the different given technologies given during the course (but in more depth here) on Industry 4.0 in different sectors (government, private) like Industry 4.0 in Healthcare. ◆ Green and sustainable Industry 4.0 ♦ Industry 4.0 and Smart City ♦ Industry 4.0 and data security ♦ Industry 4.0 and agile manufacturing ♦ Industry 4.0 Jobs: if Industry 4.0 prevails what will the next generation do for a living from management perspectives. ♦ Industry 4.0 polices, strategies, regulations, governance ♦ Future Industry 4.0 trends/strategies PROJECT SCOPE Students are expected to form a group made of 6 students maximum and produce around 15 pages report (Format: A4, 12-size font, Times New Roman, single space, pagination) on an Industry 4.0 topic.
