Question

2. Problem Two: Fiterman Furniture is a small company that produces two lines of smart desks, model A, and model B. After preliminary research, the marketing department expects the demand for model A to be at least 100 units per day. In contrast, the demand for model B is expected to be at least 39 units per day. In addition, due to limitations in the assembly line, the company cannot exceed 415 units for model A, and 295 for model B respectively. Because of an upcoming technology event, the company has a contractual obligation to send at least 350 units every day. If the sale of each model A yields a $254 profit, and the sale of each model B results in a $425 profit, how many units of each model should the company produce to maximize daily profits? (Hint: Please notice that the contractual constrain is a combined constraint, i.e., the coefficients of A, and B should be one, respectively).
