Question

2. The reaction A + B -> C + D is considered to be first order in A and first order in B (i.e. overall second order) and is carried out

with an initial concentration of A of 4 mol/L and an initial concentration of B of 2 mol/L. Derive an expression for the fractional conversion of the limiting reactant as a function of time, the initial concentration of A and B, and the kinetic rate constant k.
