3. Use the results obtained in the part 1 (wind speed distribution plot), and the attached wind turbine data sheet, determine the following: a. Percentage of time during which the wind turbine will not be producing any power (i.e. time when wind speed is below cut-in and above cut-out speeds), and percentage of time during which the wind turbine is producing at the rated power. b. If the wind distribution is assumed to be accurate over a month period, calculate the amount of power the wind turbine will generate over a month period. Part 3: 40% of the project total grade: 20% for part 3a and 20% for part 3b.
