8-1 Discussion I would like to bring up the Internet of Things (IOT). Our forever changing and advancing technology has good and bad. I will start off by saying the IOT items include wearable technology such as apple watches. These are an advancement in the right direction because now that simple watch that is on your wrist make look simple, but fact is if you were to get into an automobile accident or become lost that watch can ping your location as well as call an emergency number for help when needed without the user even having to think about calling for help. Along with those devices they are now creating devices to be utilized inside our homes such as smart light bulbs and such that can be turned off remotely through an application on your smart device. It is important for these trends to exist and become more part of our everyday lives than we are used to. These devices I have mentioned, one of them is a lifesaving device in a sense or could be used as one. The other being a light bulb which I find very interesting and fascinated by such an invention. So, with the forever advancing of technology only more products will be created enhancing our everyday lives.
