■Late submission of any item of coursework

published deadline, coursework relating to
modules at Level 5 submitted late
(including deferred coursework, but with
the exception of referred coursework), will
have the numeric grade reduced by 10
grade points until or unless the numeric
grade reaches or is 40. Where the numeric
grade awarded for the assessment is less
than 40, no lateness penalty will be
applied.

Skills and Attributes. Successful students will
typically:
• Be able to evaluate the accessibility and usability of
computing applications.
• Identify, propose and communicate solutions for
accessibility and usability problems effectively in
electronic as well as written and oral forms to a range
of audiences.
Assignment Tasks:
Your task is to conduct an accessibility conformance test and
report the results for the following web page:
https://www.acer.com/gb-en
You will produce ONE report that contains the following
sections:
1. Approach to conformance testing. Note that for
this assignment you must either use the WAVE
conformance testing tool or the checklist provided by
Orange (https://la-va11ydette.orange.com/?list=wcag-
web&lang=en). Note that you must not use assistive
technologies for this assignment.
2. Test results. In this section, you must present the
results of your conformance test. Include
screenshots.
3. Recommendations. Provide a list of actions that can
be taken by the organisation to address the key issues
identified in your testing.
