AfL: Cell Cycle Flip Book Assessment Create a visual display of the cell cycle in a flip book format. If you have another creative format for presenting the stages of the cell cycle, email your teacher for approval before proceeding. Follow the general guidelines listed below. Instructions Draw and colour the structures involved in each stage of the cell cycle (interphase, mitosis, and cytokinesis) in the order they occur in the process of cell division. The first page should start with a single cell, and the final page of your flip book should show two daughter cells. Do not label the structures. Your flip book should show the correct movement of the structures during cell division. Flip Book Requirements: The pages must include all three stages of the cell cycle: interphase, mitosis (prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase), and cytokinesis. Each drawing must show most or all of the following structures: centrioles, chromatids, chromatin, chromosomes, centromere, nuclear envelope, cell membrane, spindle fibers. Note Include pages showing the cells in intermediate stages (i.e. in-between the previous stage and the next stage of the cell cycle) to make the transition from one stage to the next flow smoothly. The flip book must contain at least 10 pages. Submitting Your Flip Book: Upload your video of your flip book to the Dropbox.
