to create a piece of art linked to how you understand professional social work. This piece of art can take many forms and we will help you decide what this might look like. It is a holistic form of assessment to help you pull together all the different strands of your early (first semester) understanding of social work. 1b This will be presented at a panel consisting of academics, local authority employer colleagues, and people with lived experience of social work. It will be followed by a viva (discussion and questions). Practice in a self-reflective manner with regard to the value base of social work. Clarify and negotiate the purpose of social work involvement. Demonstrate an understanding of emotional resilience and the use of supervision in social work. Follow and develop an argument and evaluate the viewpoint of and evidence presented by others./n3d Write accurately and clearly in styles adapted to the audience, purpose and context of the communication.
