Scoping Review for Artificial Intelligence in healthcare Purpose of Assignments - Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare The purpose of this project it to facilitate your abilities as healthcare management students to research a relevant topic within the health informatics domain so you can learn to: (1) identify and formulate questions of inquiry about a health informatics and/or healthcare data analytics topic, (2) synthesize relevant literature into a coherent, logical and well written format, (3) apply the knowledge you have gained in conducting the literature review by making recommendations for improvement within the field. Assignment Description In a group of 1-2 students, you will conduct a scoping review on a relevant health informatics domain discussed within one of the modules introduced in the course. A scoping review: aims to map the existing literature in a field of interest in terms of the volume, nature, and characteristics of the primary research. A scoping review of a body of literature can be of particular use when the topic has not yet been extensively reviewed or is of a complex or heterogeneous nature (Pham, Greig, Sargeant et al, 2014).
