Attempt 1 Mar 11, 2024 at 12:59 AM Kuwait freedom In 1990 Iraq leader Sadam Hussain invaded Kuwait and he ruled it for 7 months. On the 26th of feb 1991 the Independence Day of Kuwait when all the world came and freed Kuwait. Intro: I. Kuwait is one of the smallest countries in the world. II. Why did the whole world fight for this small country? Because of its geographical location etc. III. My main points are about Kuwait's freedom and how Kuwaiti's suffered. Body: L How the enemy proved themselves to be smart in the first day of invasion fighting at night. 1. The enemy used busses to transport troops to kuwait capital, which was wrong, but kuwait didn't expect the invasion because both countries had great political relation. A-Kuwait's army fell in the first 2 hours B-common civilians were killed in the first day of war. Transition: The first day was hard to all civilians especially soldiers and families. II. My family suffered in this war and my mother's first husband was assassinated. 1- Tanks firing towards houses packed with people just because a member of a family is serving the military. A- my father and uncle got arrested several times, but they were able to get away. B- my older uncle was the most wanted man because he was President George bush's guard. III. Kuwait freedom was a must for all the countries because to threaten saddam they have to attack him in kuwait, or he will be the second adolf hitler. 1- Kuwait didn't have the capability to free itself, so Kuwait's prince Jaber called for help in united nations. A- A flock of fighter planes from natto and gulf countries strikes sadam forces.
