Financial stress such as debate, job loss or different fiscal priority management can cause severe rifts and discussions in a relationship, causing instability. Another, very prevalent cause, is acts of infidelity, whether emotional or physical, represent a deeply distressing challenge that can break trust and intimacy within a marriage, as well as cause betrayal trauma to the betrayed spouse, often leading to PTSD.
