Concentric Zone Model of Urbanization Anyone with a background in urban sociology looks at urbanization, which is the study of social, political, and economic interactions in cities. Perhaps the best-known illustration of human ecology is the concentric zone model. This concept sees a city as a collection of concentric circular sections radiating outward from its center, with various "zones" encroaching on neighboring zones (as new demographic groups and commercial enterprises encroach on the margins of neighboring zones) and achieving (then after the invasion, the new inhabitants reuse the areas they have invaded and expel the previous inhabitants) (Offong, S. E. 2020). In this plan, the commercial and entertainment sector is concentrated in Zone A, the urban core. Formerly opulent residences that have been converted into affordable apartments for new immigrant populations make up Zone B, which is the concentric circle that surrounds the city center. This area also contains small factories, pawn shops, and other fringe industries. Working class and established ethnic communities are located in Zone C. To meet the fundamental requirements of the residents, these places include tiny, growing enterprises and stores selling a variety of items.
