Field or Analytical Work 1. For the city plan you found: a. Describe the transportation plan in terms of which category it falls into according to Chapters 15 to 21 of

the ITE Transportation Planning Handbook (e.g. Is it a Metropolitan Plan, as per Chapter 16, etc) and why the plan should fall in that category. Cite examples from the Handbook. b. Determine the techniques they used to do the plan (e.g. data collection, analysis, did they use a multi-step modelling technique, etc), and including at least one picture/screenshot of a map in the plan showing the results of the plan c. Describe what elements of the plan that you find interesting d. What does the plan not cover that you think it should? Be prepared to discuss your observations in class. Conclusions and Recommendations Summarize your findings about both reports and provide a critical analysis. Include in your report screenshots of maps and other interesting content from that plan. Lab is to be written as a report (approximately 750 words) and top marks will go to reports that are well-organized, well-presented and include thoughtful and well-reasoned arguments (as per the rubric)
