Question

Five marks will be deduced from your individual mark on this assessment for each week you are absent from an on-campus workshop, scheduled every Thursday, without authorisation. Your engagement with group

work and attendance to workshops will be monitored by your lab tutor. Writing the Report: Your report should have a title page, which includes the title of your report, the word count, your group name and your student identifier (but not your name). The main body of the report should consist of: an abstract; introduction; methods, results/discussion; references and appendices. The word limit for the lab report is 2000 words using Calibri font (size 11). The precise word count of your assignment should be stated on the assignment cover sheet. However, the word limit does not include a title page, contents page, direct quotations from data set, tables, figures, illustrations, references list or appendices. Appropriate referencing is required in this assignment. All references must be in accordance with APA guidelines. Marking Criteria: The level 4 qualitative lab report rubric will be used to mark this assignment (see below for a copy of this). This clearly identifies what is expected in each section of your report to achieve the highest possible marks. You will be given feedback against this rubric.
