Group Presentation Each group will be assigned an article to read and present to the class. Presentations will be approximately 15-20 minutes in length and structured using the following four-point structure: ● Summary (25 points) What ideas stood out to you as relating to the other material discussed in class and presented in the book? (20 points) What is the significance of these ideas to you? (20 points) Do you think this article increases our understanding of financial markets/institutions and if so, how? (2- 5 minutes) (20 points) o I will not accept that this article increases our understanding because it "will help us prevent another financial crisis" or anything to that effect. There must be more thought involved in how the topics covered in the paper increase your understanding. o Please note: For those ideas that stood out to you, conduct further research and discuss how that particular topic furthers your understanding. The expectation is that you research and incorporate materials not covered in this class. Reference at least two additional academic articles in your discussion paper. This is essential for an "A" grade. If no other resources are cited and incorporated, then the maximum grade that can be earned is a "B".
