How do you think the US should respond to the growing food insecurity in our own country and in the rest of the world?

In the wake of covid 19 pandemic, ongoing Russia Ukraine war and the thread of climate change the world is falling into the lamp of food insecurity. According to the report by Oxfam in 2016, the richest 62 people in the world own as much as the wealth of poorest half. It shows the level of inequality present in the world. In this backdrop, the role of US is immensely important to meet out the food security challenge in US itself and rest of the world. President Joe Biden, announced in the recent G7 summit in Germany, to expand “feed the future” food security initiative in African and Asian countries. America has a bigger role to play in solving the Russia Ukraine crisis because of which the world is witnessing high rate of inflation and food supply scarcity. Through the platform of NATO, US can resolve the war issue. It can also sign bilateral and multilateral agreements with countries such as India, Brazil and Australia to frame food security strategy at global level.
