In Rome, Italy, Julius Caesar was assassinated and killed and the Roman Republic collapsed as a result of Julius Caesar's death. Caesar ruled the Roman Republic as its emperor, and the members who assassinated him were fellow legislators who influenced Roman politics and the country's administration. Before knowing how Julius became the cause of Roman Republic fall and how he killed Roman Republic, it is must to define the character of Julius. He was a highly regarded member of the Roman populace who also led the republic's military expansion into what are now sections of Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium. He also enjoyed tremendous popularity among the Roman populace. General and statesman Julius Caesar represented the Romans. Being a part of the First Triumvirate, Caesar commanded the Roman military during the Gallic Wars before prevailing over Pompey in a civil war. Following his ascension to power, Caesar launched a series of political and social changes, among them the Julian calendar. Many people from remote parts of the Roman Republic received nationality as a result of his actions. As well as supporting veterans, he started land redistribution.

It is important to remember that the dictatorship was only meant to last temporarily. But in February of 44 B.C., Caesar was proclaimed a "dictator for life," refusing to relinquish his status as the most powerful ruler in Rome. This filled other senators with fear and detestation which ultimately lead to the conspiracy against the dictator. A gang of senators killed Julius in 44 BC while the Senate was in session. However, the conspirators of Julius Caesar's death eventually had the reverse effect of what they had anticipated. Numerous civil conflicts sprang out as a result of the public's animosity toward the senators over the murder. Finally, Octavian, a son through adoption and the grandnephew of Caesar, became the ruler of Rome. He adopted the name Augustus Caesar. The Roman Republic was abolished and the Roman Empire was established during Augustus' rule.

Its subsequent downfall in 27 BCE was caused by a combination of economic issues, political corruption, criminality and private militias, the ascent of Julius Caesar as emperor, and other factors. According to scholars [2], the coalition between Julius Caesar, Pompeii the Great, and Marcus Licinius Crassus to control Rome in 59 BCE marked the beginning of the demise of the Roman Republic. Caesar and Pompeii turned against one another over rule of Rome when Crassus perished in combat. Caesar proclaimed himself supreme leader of Rome following his triumph in the battles with Pompeii. It was impossible to restore the republic after Rome had a dictatorship. Before being assassinated and Rome devolving into political upheaval, Caesar only held power for a brief period of time. Rome was eventually fell and never again be a republic, even though it had once contributed to the rise of the global superpower.
