LEAN MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

1. The first video learning that we have will focus on an overview of lean management

and operations.

The first video is a factory tour of "FastCap" that has integrated lean management into

their entire company from orders in to orders out. The video is about 14 minutes.

You will start a SECOND word document titled "Lean Management Practices - Part 1"

and save that to your Management 474 folder. You are to watch the video and then

write a summary of the concepts and impressions that you gained from watching the

video. I would suggest that your summary be a minimum of about 50 words or 5

sentences or so. If you wish to write more, that would be great for YOUR learning.
