a pathogen and provide in-depth information to peers. Assignment Instructions Create a presentation about a selected pathogen and its associated disease. You will record a video of yourselves presenting the slides (as though you are presenting to the entire class) and upload it to Canvas. Here is a tutorial explaining how to record a video in Zoom. Components of Presentation A detailed breakdown of the components of the presentation. Content 1.Title page including the name of the pathogen, student's name, course, and instructor 2.Name and description of the microbe/pathogen 3. Historical background of the disease 4.Etiology of the microbe/pathogen 5.Historical background and description of the pathogen 6.The life cycle of the organism 7.Portal of entry 8.Route of transmission/n9.Which organ/organ systems are affected? 10.Epidemiology 11. Prevalence and incidence 12.Morbidity and mortality rates 13.Clinical presentation (i.e., signs and symptoms) 14.Treatment methods 15.For antimicrobials: Provide names and mechanisms of action 16.
