Module Title: Introduction to Law 77-0994-00N Task 2: Essay (65%) Description Choose one aspect of English Law to consider in detail in the different topics studied as part of the module. Comment on and evaluate how your chosen aspect of English Law work, and consider the place of that law in society. Assessment Criteria Students' work will be assessed by the following criteria: 1. the quality of the description of the chosen area of English Law; 2. the evaluation and analysis of the aspect of English law 3. the use of relevant academic resources 4. the use of good academic English and referencing using the OSCOLA citation system. Format 1. Your work must be submitted using a Microsoft Word file format (doc or docx). 2. Filenames should use only letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, and should be less than 72 characters in length. 3. Your work MUST NOT be password protected. 4. Your work must be double-spaced. 5. If you have a learning contract that tutors must take account of when marking your work, please include appropriate wording on your script. Footnote referencing using only the OSCOLA referencing method MUST be used for this assessment task; the Harvard or APA referencing systems are NOT permitted. 7.
