Part One: Interview

You have just got a new job as a Lifestyle Reporter for a magazine. Your first

task is to gather research in the form of an interview and a report to submit to

the magazine about different 'Groups in Context' and their ability to access

support networks within our society.

Conduct ONE interview from the 'Groups in Context' list below.

a. Groups in Context:

i. People with disabilities

ii. The Aged (65 years +)

iii. Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Individuals

iv. Sole Parents

v.Youth (12-24 years)

Part A: Interview questions - (10 Marks)

1. Construct a range of interview questions. (Limit of 10)

The questions must be designed to gather information from the respondent about:

a. Their specific needs

b. The challenges they experience in meeting these needs

c. The types of formal support that are available to them in the wider

community

d. Their ability to access these Formal Support Services

NOTE: Background information for Part A 'specific needs' can be found on page 15 of

the CAFS syllabus.

Part B: Notes taken during interview (10 Marks)

1. You must outline in detail the responses to all the interview questions and include

additional comments or questions that were asked.

2. Make a copy of the notes made during the interview and submit them in written

form.

3. You may use a voice recorder or video to assist in your interview but you are still

required to produce a written copy of the notes/nPart Two: Written Report (30 Marks)

In your report:

Select ONE (1) Formal Support Service that is relevant for the 'Groups in Context' group

that you selected in Part One to answer the following questions.

Identify the service, outline how it can be accessed and describe the type of

support that is provided by this service. (10 Marks) Word Limit = 200 words.

Explain the positive effects of accessing this service on an individual's wellbeing.

Include a range of appropriate and relevant examples.

Sub headings must be used to organise your report.

5. Report must be typed in in Size 12 font Calibri or Times Roman

6. Submit your finished report in the assessment box provided or on Canvas.
