Points: up to +1% on final grade Submissions Allowed: You may submit this assignment twice for up to +2% on your final grade. Assignment: Watch a documentary or academic/industry seminar presentation on a subject relevant to this class and write a 500-word summary of the documentary/seminar. Summary should include but not be limited to: title of seminar or documentary, name of speaker (if relevant), date and location of seminar or link to the recording (if relevant), summary of topic, how it relates to environmental engineering, communities affected, research methods (if relevant), any conclusions presented, and identify terms you are unfamiliar with and look up the definitions. Diagrams are acceptable to include, but make them neat and explain their significance. Do not just turn in notes you took during the documentary/seminar as that is not sufficient. All documentaries/seminars must be approved by Dr. Garner before submission.
