Problem 1. A 200 kg object and a 500 kg object are separated by 0.4 m and are held in place. You may assume that the 200 kg object is

on the left. (a) Find the net gravitational force exerted by these objects on a 50 kg object placed exactly midway between them. (b) Determine the gravitational field at the location of the 50 kg object. (c) The 50 kg object is removed and a 60 kg object is placed there instead. Determine its acceleration. Hint: This should take very little work. (d) At what position (other than infinitely far away) can the 50 kg object or the 60 kg object be placed so that it experiences a net force of zero. (Note that the Earth is definitely not part of this problem).
