Problem 4 (2 points) Some whales sleep in vertical position as in Fig. 1a below. Assuming the whale averagelength of 16 m, mass of 50 tons, and volume of 2,000 L, gravitational acceleration of 9.81 m/s², ocean waterdensity of 1.025 g/cm³, calculate the whale weight the buoyant force magnitude acting at the whale bottom (plane B) if the whale shape is approximated asa cylinder (see Fig. 1b below). Absolute and gage pressures at points A and B if the distance from the ocean surface to point A is 10 m.Point B is any point inside plane B and point A is any point inside plane A.
