Problem 7. A 200 g block is pressed against a spring with a spring constant of 1.4 kN/m until the block compresses the spring by 10 cm. It is then released from rest. The block is definitely NOT connected to the spring and the spring rests at the bottom of a ramp inclined at 0 =60° to the horizontal. Determine how far up the incline the block moves (L) before it stops (a) if the ramp exerts no friction force on the block and (b) if the coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.4.
