You will create a surface profile. An AutoCAD file that contains contours and an alignment will

be provided. You will create a profile with a vertical exaggeration of 4 to 1.

Project Submission

The project criteria and submission.

• The alignment will be divided into 2 sheets with 500 feet of the alignment

on each sheet.

The layout sheet size shall be 11x17.

Create two layout sheets with the alignment shown in the viewport.

Scale the viewport appropriately to fill the sheet.

Label the stations and elevations on the profile.

• Use different layers for the profile grid, surface, text, and other items as

needed.

Plot the two drawings as PDF files.

Submit the PDF files and DWG file.
