Project report submission

1. Report is expected to be type-written, formatted according to UTM Thesis manual, on A4-

sized paper.

2. Solution to this project must be presented in standard technical report format. The report

should include chapters on the project problem discussions. Recommended chapters are as

listed below,

Chapter 1 - Introduction to the problem including the problem statement.

Chapter 2 - Mathematical model, derivation of the governing equation and development

of the analytical solution.

Chapter 3 - Numerical solution using the appropriate numerical method.

Chapter 4 - Script or program development for the chosen numerical methods including

the algorithm, flow chart and fully commented source code.

Chapter 5 - Result verification and accuracy of the numerical solution.

Chapter 6 - Conclusion and recommendations.

3. Fully commented script source codes developed for the project must also be included as an

appendix. The script softcopy must be submitted together with the report softcopy. No mark

will be given if the script softcopy is not submitted.

4. A project marking session with randomly picked groups will be held to discuss about the

submitted project.

5. Please include the following statement in the first page of the project submission. Do not use

fancy font as your signatures, use a scanned one.
