This is a Microsoft (MS) Word template to be used for preparing your laboratory report. The maximum number of words per abstract is 50 for reports and 200 for review articles. The text may be divided into sections numbered by Arabic figures, in the decimal system. The maximum number of keywords is 3 for regular articles and 6 for review articles. Key words: Superheavy nuclei, fusion reactions, cross-section. 1. INTRODUCTION This is an example of a template for your laboratory experiment in Mechanics. This template has an international character intended to follow by all the students undertaking this subject. You must submit the final paper both in word and pdf. All calculations in excel or notes must also be submitted for documentation purposes. Optionally, you may want to compress your submission into .ZIP archive format to ease electronic mail transfer and attach high resolution figures separately if you are not sure that graphic/figure quality (at least 300 DPI resolution) is maintained when embedded in MS Word document. MECHANICS (Laboratory) The author(s) shall hold full responsibility for the quality of the experiment. Any submitted lab report is carefully checked and scrutinized by your professor. Please avoid plagiarism as I will check it in Turnitin and other plagiarism applications. Anyone who will caught doing such act will receive automatically zero grade, irrespective if you just lift some phrases or copy the entire paragraph. You may contact me if you have further questions by means of W Edit with WPS Office PHY610 electronic mail: floyd.plando@pcu.edu.ph 1.1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION You should use this document template to produce the MS WORD manuscript as a single file including the figures, tables and references at the right place. The special styles defined here must be used in writing the paper (Paper title; Authors; Affiliation; Abstract; Keywords/PACS; Heading 1,2,3; Normal; etc.). The only fonts allowed are Times New Roman and Symbol (for Greek characters in formulae and equations). Do not use headers or footnotes. N (E) × 10³ 20 Insert the figures at their appropriate position within the paper using Insert/Picture/From file... menu. Figures shall not be larger than an A4 page each. Figures reproduced from other publications need proof of copyright permission. Scanned illustrations with hand-writing or figures with embedded text in other language than English are not accepted. Figures/illustrations in color will appear as black-and-white/grayscale in print and will retain full-color quality in the electronic version published through the journal web site. For colored figures please, input "(Color online)." before the caption text. 25 15 10 5 A. Author * * * * * * * 0 4 8 * Fig. 1 1.2. The figure captions should be preceded by 6pt vertical space. They shall be set next to the number of the figure, and centered, written using TIMES NEW ROMAN, 9pt. Between the number of the figure and its caption there should be a dash (-). Introduce a white line after the caption - 12 pt. These formatting details are already included in the Caption style of the current template. Measure units shall be mentioned in brackets, Sl units where required. As an example see the graphic above. 1.3. TABLES Tables shall be introduced at their appropriate place in the text. Landscape tables are not generally accepted so please, contact the editor prior to including them into your paper. Table numbers shall be written using TIMES NEW ROMAN, 9 pt, italic, CENTERED, without a final dot. Table titles center aligned, below the number of the table, using Times NEW ROMAN, 9 pt, CENTERED. Introduce a blank line after the end of the table - 12 pt. The Table Classic 1 style of this template was specifically modified to meet these requirements. Measurement units should be non-italicized. Equations shall be preceded and followed by a blank line - 12 pt. Displayed equations shall be centered. Equations shall be numbered parentheses, flush right, using TIMES NEW ROMAN, 11 pt. They should also use two tabs: a central tab at 6.5 cm that centers the equation on page, and a right tab at 13 cm. Equation (1) was written in Equation Editor and then converted to image in order to offer better compatibility (mind the image resolution though). For equation (2) (in text mode) the following typesetting conventions were applied. ■ dt ■ A. Author + a ■ a²4 dx² + +1|4|³²4 = 0₁ Variables that use Latin letters are written in italic. Greek variables are not italicized. Trigonometric, hyperbolic, logarithmic, arc functions must be typed in non-italicized with their argument properly delimited from the rest of the formula. The total differential operator, symbolized by "d", must be written in non-italic, too. Short title shall be preceded by two blank lines - 12 pt. A short title of maximum 40 characters including blanks is suggested. It shall be written using TIMES NEW ROMAN, 9 pt, CENTERED. Short title shall be followed by a blank line 12 pt. 1.5. SHORT TITLE Alternatively, the short title could be provided by editing the reserved space on the odd page header of this document. There are styles defined by this template that specifically meet the requirements listed in the journal typesetting instructions. The authors are instructed to try to use these styles, accordingly. The correspondence between styles and different parts of the manuscript are listed below.
