Question 2 Overcoming biases requires to you reflect on how you can acknowledge, challenge and correct bias to improve your diversity competence and apply lessons learned in class. In this reflection activity, you will be graded on the depth of your reflection and learning. Note that merely stating and repeating the lessons learned in class is not sufficient. You would need to apply it to your own lives and special context. The total word limit for Question 2 is 1,200 words. Strategies to overcome personal biases You will be graded on the strategies you hope to apply to overcome personal biases. In particular, your strategy/action plan has to be specific to your individual capacity for change. 15 (15 marks) Question 2d Applying your knowledge of the diversity training effectiveness literature, how far do you think that diversity training is effective in reducing bias? Effectiveness of diversity training You will be graded on how well you apply the scientific knowledge about diversity training effectiveness to comment on its potential to reduce bias. 10 (10 marks)
