Question 5 You and a friend are making jelly. You boil some water to dissolve the jelly crystals, then add ice to help it cool down and set faster. You use

a heavy ceramic bowl for this, which allows very little heat exchange with the environment. If you have 150 mL of water with jelly crystals at 80.0 °C, and you add 50.0 g of ice (at 0.0 °C), what will the temperature of the jelly water mix be when the ice has melted and the mix has reached equilibrium? Treat the jelly mix as though it were pure water. The latent heat of fusion of ice is 3.33 x 105 J.kg-1.
