QUESTION: Place yourself in the role of the HR employee responsible for recruiting for Hudson College. Your job is to recruit and help in the selection of new employees for every

level of classification (Faculty, Administration, full-time Hourly employees). Success for a recruiter is defined not only by attracting and selecting quality candidates but also in the retention rate of the hired employees. So, you have an interest in developing a benefit package that not only attracts candidates, but continues to satisfy the hired employee throughout their career with Hudson College. Considering Hudson College's demographic information and the type of benefits that are appropriate for a small liberal arts institution, identify 4 benefit options, or modifications to existing benefits, that you recommend and why it fits Hudson College. Remember simply increasing the amount of an existing benefit is not what Bridges is looking for – so don't simply recommend increasing the amount of paid vacation. Include in your answer: A brief description of each benefit you are suggesting. Your description should be sufficiently specific for non-HR employees to understand what you are proposing./nExplanation of why you believe each benefit will be attractive to applicants and/or existing employees. Be clear about how it is beneficial to specific demographic group(s) or universally optimal for Hudson College employees. Address the financial cost of each benefit, remember Hudson is operating on limited resources. Is the benefit no-cost, minimal cost, expensive but worth it?
