Shear: 3a A truss joint connecting bars OA, OB, and OC is shown. The connecting plate is 20 mm thick and the diameter of the connection bolts isD = 10 mm. Find: (a) the shear stress for each of the six bolts connecting bar OC to the joint and (b) the bearing stress on the plate at OC. Note that the bars are only on one side of the plate,thus the bolts are subjected to singles hear.
