THEMES OF JUSTICE IN SPANISH LITERATURE AND FILM INFORMATION ESSAY NO. 1 For our First Essay, discuss the following topic: "MARSHLAND" The Spanish Transition is the background of the film "Marshland". This political, social, and legal period is portrayed through the plot, the characters and many images of the movie. In our class discussions we highlighted the idea that the film doesn't have a proper ending. In your essay discuss if the fact of not having a closed ending is related to a specific political issue of the Spanish transition. If so, which one? In other words (and trying to direct your ideas): Do you see any parallelism between the pending political issues related to the Transition and the final arrangement between the two police officers?
