inquiry skills and create a presentation about a particular African civilization by answering the following essential questions. Essential Questions to answer in your assignment: 1. What is the name(s), location, time period of this civilization? 2. What major events are in the history of this civilization i.e. founding/ establishment, accomplishments, conflicts, decline? 3. Description of the material aspects of the civilization you investigated i.e.location, natural resources, economy, trade, art, architecture 4. Description of the social aspects of the civilization you investigated i.e. identity, language, family life, social institutions, belief systems, power/ governance/social divisions/class, role of men/women, 2SLGBTQIA+ people, etc. 5. What aspects of this past civilization helped shape the present day society? What, if any, aspects of this past civilization survive to the present day?/nInstructions: You will create a presentation in any of the following formats that answers the essential questions (in the next section): 1. A traditional presentation - you will create a visual presentation of some kind and speak live while presenting it to the class e.g. Powerpoint, Slides 2. Voice recording e.g. podcast, interview etc. 3. Video presentation e.g. Tiktok, Youtube video 4. Creating an infographic timeline of some kind Which ever format you choose, there must be a summary handout of your findings that will be distributed to all students.
