University of Technology Sydney Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology 49002 Managing Projects - Autumn 2024 Individual Reflections on Project Management Learning Overview This is an individual assignment. · Using the provided templates, show how the plan you created in Assignment 1 and your work on Assignment 2 as well as what you learnt in this subject have contributed to your understanding of project management. · Mere documentation of what you might find on "the web", in the lecture notes or from talking to other students will attract VERY LOW marks. Aim Reviewing and reflecting on completed projects is a useful practice for project managers. You are creating a review of the subject .. You are expected to reflect and report on what and how things worked out (or didn't work out) with regard to the plan you prepared in the first part and with what you prepared in the team charter and the project health check. What lessons have been learnt and what you might do differently on your next project. Task and Deliverables Assignment 3 is due in the final assessment period, following the completion and submission of all subject activities and other assessment. It is designed to be a reflection of the complete subject and therefore should be written after the subject work is complete. Given the benefit of hindsight, we would like to know what you have learnt. How did your expectations (plan developed for assessment 1 ) match reality? What could you have done differently? What do you suggest that we do differently? A template is provided for this assessment. Important Notes: You are expected to follow the University policy and guidelines regarding plagiarism. Marks · The assignment is worth 15% of the overall subject mark. Format Your document needs to be in PDF format and based on the templates provided. Please check carefully once you have created the PDF output - for example, it is all too easy to lose page numbers or the left or right side of a page. 49002 MP Autumn 2024 page 1 of 2 Due Date The assignment is due Midday, 12pm Monday June 3rd 2024.
