Video presentation is a part of the Kl exercise where
you use the KI-2 content you learned to make a short
7-minute video online. The details of the KI-2 content
are given in the pre-KI videos. The video presentation
should include the following:
1. Introduction of the audio amplifier and speaker
(the one from the pre-KI videos).
2. Specific key concepts in each of the junior year
courses (ECE 311, 331 and 341) that are used in
building the system.
3. A summary of how specific key concepts are
integrated in building the audio amplifier and
speaker.
You can record the video presentation on your own
time using your preferred recording software (some
recommendations below). You must upload the final
version of the presentation no later than 11:59 PM on
11/10 on Canvas. Your video presentation will be
judged by a small group of your peer students using a
provided scoring rubric.
A few tips for making the video presentation:
1. Introduce yourself first.
2. Look into the camera when you speak.
3. Speak clearly and avoid using complex sentences
and phrases.
4. Accompanying slides can help you make your
point, but keep the slides simple and easy to read.
5. Be concise and don't get into too much detail, and 6. Try and specifically discuss how topics relate
between classes.

As a reminder, in addition to specific requirements laid
out by the assignment itself, you are expected to:

o Presentations should be 7 minutes,
+/- 30 seconds. If you are only in one
class you may do 2.5 minutes, if you
are only in two classes you may do 5
minutes.
• Infusing personality is encouraged, but
remember that it is entirely likely a faculty
member will see your presentation, thus a degree
of decorum is expected. Business casual attire is
encouraged, but any evident attempt at being
presentable will be accepted.
• Please try to submit early. If everyone waits until
the last minute, there will be issues uploading
your video to Canvas. That said, if you are having
technical difficulties, please contact me (Aaron

necessary for this assignment, but given an afternoon, I
think you'll find this to be the most stable suggestion.
Aaron used this one and finds it pretty user friendly
and straightforward.
Flashback Express- Untested, but looked cool.
Bandicam-seemed really straight forward and highly
recommended. If you have a webcam, have it stream
while screen capturing. It may stutter some, but that is
okay, as long as the audio and the screen itself is clear
to the viewer.
