Assuming there are no losses, calculate the diameter D₂ at Point 2 so that the pressureremains constant, i.e. P₂= P₁= 100 kPa. In your solution, provide the flow equations andexplain the terms, units and the assumptions. Calculate the velocity at Point 2 and the kinetic energy head at Point 2. If losses were taken into account and the head loss from Point 1 to Point 2 due to frictionand viscous effects was Ah = 2m, explain how this would affect the velocity anddiameter at Point 2. You may demonstrate your answer with a calculation should youwish.
