You will create a marketing plan which will be assessed via a pitch (CW1) and a detailed marketing plan (CW2). For CW1 you will have 10 minutes via an in-class presentation.

You can use up to eight PowerPoint slides (excluding cover/reference slides). You can be as creative as you want with your presentation, the important thing is to get the key points across in a clear and persuasive way. The presentation should cover the following four elements: Introduction A brief statement to show that you understand the client's product, USP and the task you have been given. Your presentation must then include: 1. Key Market Insights • A summary/outline of factors in the UK external environment that may affect (positively or negatively) Nitropress. 2. Marketing Objectives Identify key marketing objectives. 3. Segmentation, Targeting & Positioning • A summary/outline of target profile(s) and positioning strategy. 4. Marketing Strategy • A summary/outline of overall marketing mix strategy as it relates to the product, price, place and promotional plans. You will be assessed on the clarity and persuasiveness of your presentation, the relevance of your recommendations and your application of what you have learned in class.
