Your portfolio is the development of a poster encompassing the aims, results and conclusions from the semester 2 laboratory research project. The laboratory project runs for three individual two-hour sessions and has been designed so that you utilise the data handling, statistics and study skills you have developed over your first year of study. Remember that a poster presentation seeks only to present the most important information of a research project. The content is important, but you will need to be selective about what you include and try to attain the right balance between too much text and not enough to convey depth of knowledge. To support you in this work, we will have a lecture on poster design, an IT session on the use of PowerPoint as well as additional guidance for designing the poster available via Blackboard./n
