Your tutor will be looking for you to:

o Describe the research topic. What is the topic you are interested in and

why? Make sure that it is relatively focused. For example, rather than

looking at "housing prices" you may want to look at "housing prices

impacting Gen Z" or "housing inequity in rural communities." This will

help you to have a more focused literature review, as well as to have a

clearer audience for the final assignment.

o Explain why the topic is important and relevant and if there are any

organizations you are considering.

• Outline your research strategies (where will you look for resources and

why).
