This assignment is designed to develop and apply your knowledge of propaganda acquired throughout this course. It also allows you to apply the theories and examples to media that you encounter in your daily life. For this semester our focus will be on the four following themes: 1. The media and Indigenous Issues. This relates to media coverage of themes related to Canadian Aboriginal communities and related themes. 2. Positive Propaganda. Identify examples of what you would consider positive propaganda around you. Discuss your chosen examples in relation to the course. 3. Contemporary Film Climate Change: This theme relates directly to the films that you view in your everyday life that are related to climate change themes.
