1.0 Introduction A. Project Overview- The primary objective of this project is to develop and implement a customer self-check-in kiosk at Texas Roadhouse restaurants. Texas Roadhouse currently utilizes an online waitlist feature that allows guests to add their names to a reservation system. The self- check-in kiosk will enhance that system by enabling customers to check in for their reservation or add their name to the waitlist without interacting with a host. This system will enhance customer experience, reduce wait times, and optimize operational efficiency. The project will involve designing and implementing user-friendly kiosks within the restaurant environment, integrating them with existing reservation systems, and ensuring seamless functionality. B. Recommendation- To ensure the successful implementation of the customer self-check-in kiosk system at Texas Roadhouse, we recommended introducing a pilot test in select locations and gathering customer and staff feedback to improve usability and functionality. Additionally, a staff training program should be established to ensure seamless integration of the kiosks into existing workflows. Continuous monitoring and evaluation using key performance indicators will enable ongoing system optimization. Upon successful check-in or waitlist addition, kiosk provides customers with confirmation message displaying their estimated wait time or reservation status. restaurant staff receive real-time updates on the status of guests, allowing them to manage seating arrangements and wait times more efficiently.
