pipes into a single outgoing pipe. Determine the temperature of the air at the exit, the

diameter at the exit, and the rate of entropy production within the system.

Assume: that air is an ideal gas (co= 0.24 Btu/lb ºR), that kinetic and potential energy

effects can be ignored, and the system is atmospheric pressure throughout.
