By the term acid transactions we have 4 properties associated with it:

The term ACID expands to atomicity, consistency, isolation, and durability.

The expression means that any transaction occurring in a database must fullfill:

Atomicity:

Here the changes are performed as there is only a single operation.The changes performed are all or none.

Consistent:

Data must always be in a consistent state. There cannot be inconsistency in the database.

Isolation:

Transactions must occur as if they are occurring in an isolated environment. Any operation must not affect any other operations. The intermediate state of a transaction is invisible to other transactions.

Durability:

Even in the event of a system failure, data modifications made after a transaction has successfully finished survive.
