The jet strikes a triangular-shaped target and pushes it vertically until it remains stationary at a height h above the nozzle. The target weighs 20 N. Using a control volume that includes only the water in the target, assume the jet of water is divided evenly by the target and that the velocity of the water entering the target is the same as the velocity exiting the target and that the weight of the water in the target can be neglected. Assume no energy losses. Find the height h to which the target rises.
