A RLC circuit in a power control circuit consists of a resistor 100, a capacitor 1 μF, and an
inductor 0.1 H connected in series with a voltage source of 12 Volts.
Write the second order differential equation that describes the behaviour of the circuit. Use
Kirchhoff's Voltage Law to derive the equation
Solve the differential equation to obtain an expression for the current in the circuit as a
function of time.
Critically evaluate the expression obtained by assuming the initial conditions: the capacitor is
initially uncharged and the current in the circuit is initially zero.
