ASSIGNMENT:

Create a professional classroom newsletter for one non-holiday month during the school year.

Students will design a newsletter which incorporates ideas for family engagement in the classroom

(NAEYC 2b), news about past and upcoming classroom events (NAEYC 6e) and information

specific to families of the particular age group of children. (NAEYC 1a) The newsletter must be

attractive, neat, and well written. (NAEYC 6c)
